How to register a new user account?

Click here to access the registration page and enter your details.

Start by providing your name, which will appear on your ads and public profile.

Then, choose a password (enter it twice for confirmation) and provide your email address, where you’ll receive all inquiries. Next, select your account type—either User (for individuals) or Company (for businesses).

Finally, review and accept the Terms of Service by checking the box, then click Register.

How to post an ad?

1. First login to your account.
2. Click the "Post an Ad" button at the top of the page.
3. Fill out the form, upload photos, and optionally choose additional ad promotions like Premium or Highlighted. Then, click Publish.
4. If you opted for extensions, complete the posting by selecting a payment method (Stripe, PayPal, bank transfer, or wallet balance) and making the payment.

That's it! Your ad is now live and waiting for a buyer. Best of luck!

How to edit your profile info?

1. Log in to your user panel.
2. Click the "Edit Profile Info" button in the menu on the left side (or at the top on mobile devices).
3. Update your details—adding more information helps build trust with potential buyers.
4. For companies: You can include your website URL and upload a logo, which will be displayed on your ads.
Make sure to save your changes, and you're all set!

How to mark your item as sold or delete an ad?

1. Go to your user panel and open the list of your ads.
2. Next to each ad, you'll find action buttons:
Click "Mark as Sold" to disable the contact form and stop receiving inquiries.
Click "Delete" to remove the ad completely.

Tip: Marking an item as sold instead of deleting it helps improve our marketplace’s organic reach, increasing visibility and attracting more buyers for your future ads!

Do you arrange shipping for advertised items?

In case of the usage of secure escrow-like transaction (see below), you can enjoy fully integrated shipping (available in selected countries), for regular transactions and countries where not available, you need to arrange shipping on your own.

How does it work?

1. Buyer and seller agree to make the sale.
2. The seller starts the transaction from their usedcameraforsale.com account (under "Secure Payments"), and the buyer receives an email with payment instructions.
3. Once payment is made, Trustap securely holds the funds in a Stripe-powered vault until the transaction is completed.
4. The seller ships the item as agreed.
5. After receiving the item, the buyer confirms that everything is as expected and releases the payment to the seller. If there’s an issue, they can file a complaint.
6. The seller receives the payment once the transaction is successfully completed.

How to use Trustap as a seller?

1. Log in to your usedcameraforsale.com user account.
2. Go to the "Secure Payments" tab at the top of your user panel.
3. To start a transaction, log in (or register if you haven’t yet) to your Trustap account by clicking the button in Step 1.
4. After logging in, you’ll be redirected back to usedcameraforsale.com, where you'll see a list of your ads. For each ad, a form will appear where you can start a transaction. Find the ad you’ve agreed on with the buyer and fill in their email, name, and country. Then, enter the agreed amount (without decimals, dots, or commas), read and accept the Terms & Conditions, and click "Start Transaction".
5. After submitting the form, the buyer will receive an email invitation to make a deposit. You agree to reserve the item for 7 days. If the buyer doesn’t make the deposit within this time frame, a "Cancel Transaction" button will appear in the "Actions" column of your user panel.
6.Regularly check your user panel to see if the deposit has been made. Once Trustap receives the deposit, a green button to accept the deposit will appear in the "Actions" column. Click it to accept and proceed.
7. Now, prepare the item as agreed—whether for pickup or shipping.
8. Once the item is delivered or picked up, the buyer will release the funds in their user panel to complete the transaction. You will receive the agreed payment promptly, subject to Trustap’s Terms & Conditions.

Before starting any transactions, make sure to fully read the instructions and Terms & Conditions. You will also receive detailed step-by-step instructions and next actions via email after each transaction stage.

How to use Trustap as a buyer?

1. Agree with the seller on using a secure transaction and the agreed amount for the item you're purchasing.
2. Provide the seller with your email (which must match the email registered on usedcameraforsale.com), name, and country so they can initiate the transaction.
3. Once the seller starts the transaction, you'll receive an email invitation to make a deposit for the agreed amount. Ensure the IBAN information comes from a URL matching payments.stripe.com. Use this information to make a bank transfer as soon as possible. If you do not receive the email, you can request it again by clicking the "Resend IBAN" button in your user panel.
4. After Trustap receives the deposit, the seller will accept it in their user panel and begin preparing the item for delivery or pickup, as agreed.
5. Once the item has been delivered or picked up, release the funds in your user panel within 24 hours to complete the transaction. If the item is not as described, you can start a dispute by clicking the button in your user panel and providing a description of the issue. Trustap will then contact you to resolve it.

Before entering any transactions, be sure to fully read the instructions and Terms & Conditions. Trustap fees are non-refundable, so only make a deposit after you’ve agreed on the terms with the seller.

Where is my deposit held?

Your deposit is securely held in a safe hold account, powered by Stripe's advanced payment technology. The funds are protected until all transaction milestones are met and the complaints period has elapsed. Once these conditions are satisfied, the money is instantly released to the seller.

How much does it cost to use Trustap?

Trustap fees are added to the agreed sale value and are fully charged to the buyer at the time of depositing the funds. The fee is up to 6%, depending on the transaction amount and selected method of payment. There are no fees for the seller (slight fluctuations may occur if the payment currency differs from the seller's bank currency).

These fees ensure that your funds are securely protected, allowing you to complete transactions with peace of mind.

Fee Breakdown:

In case of card payments, a fee of 6% is charged. In case of bank transfer, a fee of 3% is charged. At such a low cost, it’s a small expense compared to the risk of losing everything.

Please note, Trustap fees are non-refundable. We recommend not starting the transaction until you’ve made a firm agreement with the seller.

How can I pay for ad submission?

Posting an ad is completely free, but you can enhance its visibility with optional ad extensions, for which we offer several payment methods:
Credit Card (via Stripe) – Instant processing
PayPal – Instant processing
Bank Transfer – May take a few days to process; your order will be completed once payment is verified.

For Companies: If you're eligible for VAT deduction, enter your VAT number in your user account before making a purchase, as VAT adjustments cannot be made afterward.
