Please read the following rules carefully before using our marketplaces. Your use of the Website is subject to the following Terms & Conditions of Use, which you are legally bound to accept by using the Website. 1. Introduction

  • 1.1. Usedcameraforsale.com is an exclusive classified ad website tailored specifically for photography enthusiasts. As such, we strictly prohibit the posting of unrelated ads our platform.
  • 1.2. The terms "Usedcameraforsale.com," "usedcameraforsale," "UCFS," "we," "us," and "our" collectively refer to a brand owned and managed by New Tab, a registered company in Slovenia (SI) with the registry number 8195340000. Our main office is located at Ukmarjeva 4, 1000 Ljubljana.

2. Copyright

The copyright and all other rights in the material on the Website are owned by Usedcameraforsale.com or are included with the permission of the owner of the rights.

3. Prohibited use

You agree not to use the Website:
  • to post non-photography ads. Ads for non related items will be removed without prior notice. In the event that a user reposts a previously removed ad, the user will receive a warning from administrators, while its account can be terminated due to violations of these regulations.
  • to create a database (electronic or otherwise) that includes material downloaded or otherwise obtained from the Website except where expressly permitted on the Website;
  • to disseminate advertisements on the Website or use the Website for any other commercial purposes (which would include using the Website to promote or encourage the sale of your goods/services);
  • to place links on the Website where those links take users to unlawful material or material that contravenes these Terms and Conditions;
  • to transmit or re-circulate any material obtained from the Website to any third party except where expressly permitted on the Website;
  • in such a way so as to remove the copyright or trade mark notice(s) from any copies of any material made in accordance with these Terms and Conditions;
  • to disseminate any unsolicited or unauthorised advertising, promotional materials, "junk mail," "spam," "chain letters," "pyramid schemes," or any other form of solicitation;
  • to disseminate any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, damage, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment;
  • to disseminate any material which is or may infringe the rights (including intellectual property rights) of any third party or be unlawful, threatening, defamatory, obscene, indecent, offensive, pornographic, abusive, liable to incite racial hatred, discriminatory, menacing, scandalous, inflammatory, blasphemous, in breach of confidence, in breach of privacy, which may cause annoyance or inconvenience or may restrict or inhibit the use of the Website by any person or which constitutes or encourages conduct that may be considered a criminal offence or give rise to civil liability in any country in the world;
  • to disseminate any material which compromises the privacy or security of anyone other than yourself;
  • to disseminate any material which does or may bring Usedcameraforsale.com or any of its brands or subsidiaries into dispute or in any way damage their reputation;
  • to disseminate any material where use of the material by Usedcameraforsale.com, or any third party licensed or permitted by Usedcameraforsale.com, will give rise to any third party claims; or
  • to post link(s) that take users to material that contravenes any of the above restrictions.

3.1. Advert rules

  • Ad expiry and marking as Sold: Normal ads expire in 90 days since its submission. Ad extensions have an expiration date as specified on each extension, with some having various options of length.
  • Seller is responsible for confirming the accuracy of the advert (listing), while buyer needs to get acquainted with all the details about the offered goods included in the sale before making any actions.
  • Refund Policy: Once an ad is paid and posted, users are ineligible for a refund, even if the ad is removed by us for non-compliance with these terms.
  • Credits used for posting ads are non exchangeable for money or refundable (remaining amount on your account).
  • Usedcameraforsale.com reserves the right to modify ad titles and/or descriptions for appropriateness or to enhance visibility.
  • All inquiries undergo manual moderation to prevent scam/spam messages before being sent to the seller. By submitting an inquiry through the contact form in each ad, the user/visitor agrees that its data will be submitted to the seller and data will be used by usedcameraforsale.com only for the purposes of this inquiry and will not be shared with any other 3rd party than the seller.

4. User Generated Content

The pages of the Website where you are capable of posting content are provided for your private, non-commercial exchange of lawful, relevant, fair and appropriate information, opinions and comment. Use of the Website that is inconsistent with those stated purposes is strictly prohibited. By submitting any content to the Website, you:
  • 4.1.1. grant usedcameraforsale.com the worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use such content and all material embodied therein for any purposes including, without limitation, to use, modify, distribute, edit, copy, reproduce, translate, disclose, post and/or remove such content from the Website. For accounts registered as "company," you additionally grant permission to use your brand name and associated graphics, including logos (whether copyrighted or not), in specific sections of the website. This information is intended for public display to other visitors to improve brand visibility. If you prefer not to grant this permission, please notify us immediately after registration or at any time thereafter, and we will promptly remove the specified content from public display on the website.
  • 4.1.2. warrant to usedcameraforsale.com that all such content complies with the provisions of Clause 3; and
  • 4.1.3. acknowledge that usedcameraforsale.com may require you to confirm the above rights and warranties and agree to do so within 7 days of any request from usedcameraforsale.com.
  • 4.2. usedcameraforsale.com reserves the right (but not the obligation) at its sole discretion to refuse, review edit, move or remove any content that is posted to, or available on, the Website without the need to give any reasons for doing so. However, usedcameraforsale.com will not review the materials that you or anyone else makes to the Website and therefore, unless we are specifically notified of the nature of any item of content, you cannot assume that usedcameraforsale.com is aware of it. If you object to the publication of any material placed on the Website please contact usedcameraforsale.com using the contact details shown on the »contact us« page of the Website and we will take whatever action we deem appropriate.
  • 4.3. usedcameraforsale.com accepts no responsibility for any statements, material or other submissions placed by you or any third party, or for any loss or damage resulting from your breach of these Terms and Conditions.
  • 4.4. may place ads for single items actually for sale only, not to promote its services or multiple products at once. To promote your services and products, we offer banner advertising or LinkToShop ads.

5. Links from other websites

You may link to the Website but strictly only on the basis that you do not replicate the pages of the Website, and subject to the following conditions:
  • 5.1.1. you do not create a frame or any other browser or border environment around the Website;
  • 5.1.2. you do not in any way imply any endorsement by usedcameraforsale.com other than with its written consent or misrepresent your relationship with usedcameraforsale.com;
  • 5.1.3. you do not use any logos or trade marks displayed on the Website without the express written permission of usedcameraforsale.com;
  • 5.1.4. you do not link from a website that is not owned by you; and
  • 5.1.5. your website does not contain content that is distasteful, offensive or controversial, that infringes any intellectual property rights or other rights of any other person or otherwise does not comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

6. Trade Marks

usedcameraforsale.com trade marks (whether registered or unregistered) and graphics, logos, designs, page headers and button icons are the intellectual property rights of usedcameraforsale.com and neither they nor any confusingly similar versions may be used by you including (but not limited to) as part of any trade marks and/or domain names without the prior written consent of usedcameraforsale.com other than for the purpose of referring to usedcameraforsale.com and its associated brands lawfully and in good faith (only).

7. Registration

  • 7.1. To access certain parts of the Website, usedcameraforsale.com may require you to register and provide certain information about yourself. Such registration shall be subject to specific terms of registration. Where you register you also agree to:
  • 7.1.1. provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself as prompted by the relevant registration form (such information being the "Registration Data"); and

  • 7.2. Where you register on the Website, you will be allocated a user name and password. These account details must be used solely by you; sharing your user name and password with any other person or making it available to multiple users on a network is strictly prohibited. Accordingly, you agree to:
  • 7.2.1. maintain the security of your user name and password and be fully responsible for all use of the Website made using your user name and password;
  • 7.2.2. immediately notify usedcameraforsale.com if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your user name and password or any other breach of security by sending an appropriately worded email to the contact details shown on the »contact us« page of the Website; and
  • 7.2.3. ensure that you exit from your website account at the end of each session.
  • 7.2.4. usedcameraforsale.com will never ask for your password, if you receive a request via mail or others for your password, DO NOT send it back, it's probably a scam, which we cannot control. usedcameraforsale.com cannot and will not be liable for any losses, damages or costs arising from your failure to comply with these requirements.

8. Disclaimer

  • 8.1. Whilst usedcameraforsale.com endeavours to ensure that the Website is normally available 24 hours a day, due to the inherent nature of the Internet, errors, interruptions and delays may occur in the service at any time. Accordingly, the Website is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without any warranties of any kind and we do not accept any liability arising from any interruption in availability. Access to the Website may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for any other reasonable cause.
  • 8.2. You acknowledge that whilst usedcameraforsale.com endeavours to ensure that information on the Website and any related material provided to you by usedcameraforsale.com, whether by email or otherwise (“the usedcameraforsale.com Materials”) is accurate and complete, it is provided only for general information, is not intended to address your particular requirements and does not constitute any form of advice or recommendation by usedcameraforsale.com. You acknowledge that the information on the Website does not necessarily reflect the views and opinions of usedcameraforsale.com or any of its brands and that the usedcameraforsale.com Materials should not be relied upon by you in making (or refraining from making) any specific investment or other business or personal decisions and acknowledge that professional advice should be obtained before making any such decision.
  • 8.3. You acknowledge that some of the content may be supplied by third parties and the accuracy and completeness of it will not have been checked by usedcameraforsale.com. No liability shall be accepted by usedcameraforsale.com for any inaccuracy or omission in the information provided on the Website or the usedcameraforsale.com Materials. All implied warranties are excluded from these Terms and Conditions to the extent that they may be excluded as a matter of law.
  • 8.4. usedcameraforsale.com will use reasonable endeavours to ensure that the Website and the usedcameraforsale.com Materials do not contain or promulgate any viruses or other malicious code. However, it is recommended that you should virus check all such materials and regularly check for the presence of viruses and other malicious code. usedcameraforsale.com excludes to the fullest extent permitted by applicable laws all liability in connection with any damage or loss caused by computer viruses or other malicious code originating or contracted from the Website or the usedcameraforsale.com Materials.
  • 8.5. usedcameraforsale.com shall not be liable for any damages and losses (including, without limitation, damages for loss of the profits, indemnity, confidentiality and data breach) arising in contract, tort or otherwise from your use or inability to use the Website or any content or from any action taken (or refrained from being taken) as a result of using the Website or any content of it, including in respect of infringement of third party rights arising from the your use of the content, fraud, death and any other losses which cannot be excluded or limited by applicable law. All transactions and all agreements between buyers and sellers are made entirely at their own risk, usedcameraforsale.com is not aware of these, does not control them and will not be liable for frauds, fraud claims and any other similar inconvenience that may occur between two parties as a result of use of Website or any content.
  • 8.6. Links on the Website to third party websites are provided solely for your convenience. If you use these links, you leave the Website. usedcameraforsale.com has not reviewed these third party websites and does not control and is not responsible for these websites or their content or availability. usedcameraforsale.com therefore does not endorse or make any representations about them, or any material found on them, or any results that may be obtained from using them. If you decide to access any of the third party websites linked to the Website, you do so entirely at your own risk. Please note that usedcameraforsale.com gives no warranty that links to third party sites on the Site shall be marked as such.
  • 8.7. The Website may contain links to third party websites where you may purchase items. You acknowledge that when making a purchase from a third party website you enter into a contract with that third party at your own risk and usedcameraforsale.com will bear no liability for that contract. Please note that third parties may operate such shopping sites with reference to the name of the Website, but that does not mean that usedcameraforsale.com are responsible for their conduct or any contracts that you enter into with them.
  • 8.8. The Website may from time to time contain advertising and sponsorship. usedcameraforsale.com is not responsible for either the content of the material provided by such advertisers and sponsors or their compliance with voluntary or statutory codes or provisions. In particular, usedcameraforsale.com can provide no warranty that it will not take advertisements or sponsorship from your competitors.

9. Suspension of access to the Website and User Indemnities

  • 9.1. If, for any reason, usedcameraforsale.com believes that you have not complied with any of these Terms & Conditions it may, at its sole discretion, suspend or cancel your access to all or some of the Website immediately and without giving you any advance notice.
  • 9.2. Without prejudice to the provisions of Clause 10, you agree to compensate usedcameraforsale.com in respect of any claims, losses, expenses and/or liabilities (including legal fees) which arise from your use of the Website and/or the usedcameraforsale.com Materials (or by a third party using your user name and password) including in particular (but not limited to) any statements, contributions or other content posted on the Website.
  • 9.3. If your ad / ads / account was suspended, you are not eligible for a refund for already paid services and remaining balance in your account.

10. Limitation of usedcameraforsale.com’s Liability

  • 10.1. usedcameraforsale.com will not be liable to you for any loss or damage caused by usedcameraforsale.com or its employees (more in rule 8.5).

11. Make an offer

  • 11.1. "Make an offer" is the functionality that can be used by users - potential buyers to submit their offer to acquire an item listed on the marketplace.
  • 11.2. Your use of the functionality is subject to the following Terms & Conditions of Use described in clause 11, which you are legally bound to accept together with other clauses affecting general usage of the website.
  • 11.3. Seller can choose to enable the functionality by selecting the "enable make an offer" option during ad submission or later editing. By enabling the functionality, seller agrees to comply with regulations as stated in clause 11.2. Once enabled, the selected listing gets a "make an offer" button, which users (potential buyers) can use to submit their offers to acquire listed goods. Buyers agree to comply with the regulations by submitting an offer. Seller can review all the recived offers inside its user account in the "Offer" tab and can choose to either "decline" those who are deemed non-suitable or to "accept" the one that is.
    Once accepted, the buyer that submitted the accepted offer, is notified via email and has up to 48 hours to prove its seriousness by depositing the proposed amount in a secure escrow-style account. In case buyer fails do to so, the seller is allowed to accept another offer (if suitable), but must clearly inform the first buyer that his offer is not valid anymore. Failure to do so, may result into buyer making the deposit later, which by secure payments provider terms can be refunded, but will be charged escrow fees which are non-refundable and therefore experience damage, that we cannot be held responsible for.
    If the buyer fails to fulfill his offer in a timely manner and does not provide a reason to do so, the buyer will no longer be permitted to submit offers on any listings visible on usedcameraforsale.com network.
    Once the buyer makes the payment and initiates the escrow-style process, it is up to seller and buyer to discuss further details, sale contract, pickup or delivery, which are not in awareness of usedcameraforsale.com.
  • 11.4. By using the functionality you agree that you are solely responsible for all costs, expenses and damages that you may incur as well as complying with local law, where applicable.
  • 11.5. Seller is responsible for confirming the accuracy of the advert (listing), while buyer needs to get acquainted with all the details about the offered goods included in the sale. usedcameraforsale.com is not included or involved in the contract between seller and buyer, is not aware about the goods condition and does not carry any inspection of the cars and parts offered by users. usedcameraforsale.com cannot be held responsible for any dispute, loss or damage, as a result of incorrect description provided by the seller or its (mis)translations on other marketplaces or as a result of usage of any other functionality of the marketplaces.
  • 11.6. Escrow: to protect both parties ("seller" and "buyer"), all payments for accepted offers are processed via Trustap escrow-style payments and are subject to their Terms and Conditions. By submitting or accepting the offer, both parties agree that escrow-style payments will be used to complete the payment. There are no Trustap fees for the seller, while the buyer needs to pay the fee in amount of 2% of the agreed sale amount with the first deposit. Fees are not refundable. When paying in different currencies, there may be some alterations in the amount due to an exchange rate, which is provided by the Trustap service and subject to their Terms and conditions. usedcameraforsale.com network is not responsible nor directly included in any transaction processed through Trustap as a result of agreement via our network. The checkout process may contain usedcameraforsale.com branding including logo for the purpose of legitimacy, but usedcameraforsale.com network is never the recipient of the deposit, Trustap is.
  • 11.7. Any dispute shall be resolved between the buyer and the seller, without usedcameraforsale.com involvement. usedcameraforsale.com reserves the right to remove the offer that we deem unserious before it's sent to seller's consideration.
  • 11.8. Personal data submitted in the offer form will only be used for the purposes of the offer, reviewed by usedcameraforsale.com team and sent to the seller and will not be shared to any 3rd party.

12. Escrow-style payments (Trustap)

  • 12.1. By using "Secure payments" functionality available on our marketplaces, you agree to the following Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use Trustap for your transactions.
  • 12.2. Trustap is an escrow-style payment service that facilitates secure transactions between buyers and sellers. Trustap holds the buyer's payment in a secure escrow account until the terms of the transaction are fulfilled. Upon successful completion, the payment is released to the seller, ensuring both parties are protected. Learn more
  • 12.3. To facilitate transactions, we collect necessary personal information from both buyers and sellers, which may include names, email addresses and location (country). This data is securely shared with Trustap to process the payment and manage the safeguarded Hold Account. Trustap adheres to stringent data protection regulations to ensure your information is safe. Trustap may share transaction data with third-party service providers for the purpose of fraud prevention, compliance, and other necessary services. These third parties are bound by strict confidentiality agreements and are only permitted to use the data for specified purposes.
  • 12.4. Usage of the "Secure payments" or "Trustap" functionalities is enabled for all registered users of usedcameraforsale.com. Please note that fees may occur. For the sellers there are no fees applicable, while buyers are charged a (up to) 2% Buyer Protection fee, which is to be paid at the time of a deposit of the agreed amount (2% for transactions up to 25.000€, 1.9% from 25-50.000 and 1.75% above 50.000€). Please note that the fees are non-refundable in any case.
  • 12.5. In the event of a dispute between the buyer and seller, Trustap provides a dispute resolution service. Both parties are required to submit their claims and evidence within a specified timeframe. Trustap will review the submitted evidence according to Trustap's Disputes, Refund and Cancellation Policy. Refer to Trustap's Terms of Service for more details.
  • 12.6. usedcameraforsale.com acts only as a facilitator for Trustap services. We are not responsible for any aspect of the transactions conducted through Trustap as a result of an agreement on our marketplaces, including but not limited to the quality, safety, legality, or delivery of the goods involved. usedcameraforsale.com will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from your use of Trustap.
  • 12.7. Users must provide accurate and complete information for transactions and comply with all applicable laws and regulations when using Trustap.
  • 12.8. All transactions and any actions of a "secure payments" functionality are subject to these T&C as well as the Trustap Terms. For any questions or concerns regarding the Trustap services, please contact Trustap support.


Variation of these Terms & Conditions of Use

usedcameraforsale.com reserves the right to vary these Terms & Conditions of Use from time to time. Such variations become effective immediately upon the posting of the varied Terms & Conditions on the Website. By continuing to use the Website you will be deemed to accept such variations. You should therefore check the Website from time to time to review the then current Terms & Conditions. These Terms & Conditions were last updated on March 1st 2025.
